House Amendments to Senate Bill No. 2271

TO THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE:

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE HOUSE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

AMENDMENT NO. 1

Amend on line 561-564 by striking, "One Million Dollars

($1,000,000.00) and the maximum amount that may be transferred during any fiscal year shall be Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00)" and inserting in lieu thereof, the following:

"* * * Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00).  The maximum amount that may be transferred from the Working Cash Stabilization Reserve Fund to the Disaster Assistance Trust Fund for the state's twenty-five percent (25%) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) match for Simplified Other Needs Assistance (ONA) shall be Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00)".

Further, amend by striking subsection (7) in its entirety on lines 587-597.

Further, amend on line 599 by striking: ", and shall stand repealed on June 30, 2025".
