AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE BOLIVAR COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC., AND THE FANNIE LOU HAMER CANCER FOUNDATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute funds to the following organizations in amounts not to exceed the following:
Bolivar County Community Action Agency, Inc.... $ 100,000.00
Fannie Lou Hamer Cancer Foundation............. $ 15,000.00
(2) This section shall stand repealed on January 1, 2028.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
