AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF NESHOBA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE UP TO $5,000.00 DURING ANY ONE FISCAL YEAR TO PHILADELPHIA TRANSIT FROM AVAILABLE COUNTY FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF ITS TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC, ELDERLY, AND DISABLED CITIZENS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Neshoba County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute to Philadelphia Transit during any one (1) fiscal year, out of any available funds of the county, an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).

     (2)  The provisions of this section shall be repealed on July 1, 2027.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
