A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE SOUTH PANOLA HIGH SCHOOL "TIGERS" CHEERLEADING TEAM AND COACH SARA HELEN WARE FOR WINNING THE NATIONAL CHEERLEADERS ASSOCIATION (NCA) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR.

     WHEREAS, we join the students, teachers, coaches and the community in extending congratulations to the South Panola Competitive Cheer Team for winning the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) National Championship for the second year in a row; and

     WHEREAS, the girls competed in the Advanced Non-Tumble Game Performance Division at the NCA National Competition January 22-23, 2022, in Dallas, Texas; and

     WHEREAS, the young ladies will be feted at the Panola Country Club where they will be presented with their hard earned trophies; and

     WHEREAS, the members of the 2021-2022 South Panola High School Cheerleading Team are:  Ainsley Young, Ava Williams, Lexie Young, Chloe Anderson, Tylan Boyette, Emma Ray Estridge, Hannah Grace Sprouse, Mary Kennedy Bowlin, Callee Grace Burkes, Mattie Herron, Jamiya Montgomery, Jaylen Wright, Makinley Wilson, Emily King, Tora Sanford, Harlee Kate Crumpler, Auneka Fletcher, Chaney Beth Hannaford, Gabbie Russo, Kyla Rudd, Kadynce Johnson and Paris Morris; Coaching Staff:  Head Coach Sara Helen Ware, Assistant Coaches:  Krissi Williams, Nicole Funk, Tori Beth Jenkins, Sara Russo and Mary Boothe; and Choreographer Wesley Padilla; and

     WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we recognize these student athletes who have brought honor to their school, their community and to the State of Mississippi:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate the South Panola High School "Tigers" Cheerleading Team and Coach Sara Helen Ware for winning the NCA National Championship for the second consecutive year, and extend to the team, coaches, parents and sponsors our best wishes for future competition success.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be presented to Coach Sara Helen Ware and South Panola Principal Jason Matthews, forwarded to the South Panola School Board and be made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
