AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE BYHALIA AREA ARTS COUNCIL; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount not to exceed One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per fiscal year, beginning in fiscal year 2022, for the purpose of providing support to the Byhalia Area Arts Council in its efforts to enhance and promote cultural arts awareness and opportunities throughout the county.
(2) This section shall be repealed from and after July
1, 2026.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
