AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HOLMES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO P.E.A.R.L.S. MENTORING FOR GIRLS, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Holmes County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute annually an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), out of any available funds of the county, to

P.E.A.R.L.S. Mentoring for Girls, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing, empowering and instilling life tools in teen and young adult ladies in the county through coaching, mentoring and special programs by supporting the organization's values of purity, empathy, awareness, respect, leadership and scholarship.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2025.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
