AMEND by inserting the following language after line 74:

          "(e)  The provisions of this subsection (4) shall not prevent a public employer from asking an applicant to disclose, orally or in writing, whether the applicant has been convicted of a felony within ten (10) years of the date of the application and/or whether the applicant has ever been convicted of a crime of violence as defined in Section 97-3-2 or a crime of a sexual nature committed against a person or a child."

AMEND further on line 26 by deleting (2) and inserting in lieu thereof (3)

AMEND further on line 45 by deleting (3) and inserting in lieu thereof (4)

AMEND further on line 75 by deleting (4) and inserting in lieu thereof (5)

AMEND TITLE to conform.
