AMEND after line 222 by inserting the following new section and renumber the succeeding section:

     "(5) Any minor who has been convicted, charged or awaiting trial under any other provision of law for actions described in this section prior to the effective date of this act, such minor may appeal or be considered for a reduction of the penalty and classification of the conviction to a misdemeanor as provided in this section.”
