AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO MARTY LANGLEY OF LINCOLN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Marty Langley of Lincoln County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his convictions of the crimes of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary in 1998 in Lincoln County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve three (3) years in the custody of the Department of Corrections.  His sentence was suspended pending completion of the Regimented Inmate Discipline (RID) Program.  He completed the RID Program and was released on July 12, 1999.  His probation was terminated on July 1, 2004.  Since that time, he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
