A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE DEADLINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING THE DRAFTING AND THE INTRODUCTION, CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF, AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERMITTING THE FURTHER CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF, ANY APPROPRIATION BILL MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE SCHOOL RECOGNITION PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021, AND ANY APPROPRIATION BILL MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MARINE RESOURCES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That all of the deadlines and other provisions imposed by Joint Rule No. 40 are suspended for the purpose of the drafting and the introduction, consideration and passage of any bill described as follows, and for the purpose of permitting the further consideration and passage of any bill described as follows: Any appropriation bill making an appropriation to the State Department of Education for the purpose of providing additional funding for the school recognition program for fiscal year 2021, and any appropriation bill making an appropriation for the support and maintenance of the Department of Marine Resources for fiscal year 2021.
