AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

Senate Bill No. 2898

AMEND after line 30 by inserting the following new section and renumbering the succeeding section:

SECTION 4.  (1)  That portion of United States Highway 72 within the corporate limits of the City of Iuka, Tishomingo County, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the "Mayor Johnny Biggs Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the portion of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

AMEND TITLE as follows:

AMEND on line 7 after the semicolon by inserting the following:  TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 72 IN TISHOMINGO COUNTY AS THE "MAYOR JOHNNY BIGGS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY";
