AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 25 IN ABERDEEN, MONROE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "THOMAS LEE BALES MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 51 IN DUCK HILL, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "LUCIE E. CAMPBELL MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 61 IN SHAW, BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "ANDREW AND MARY LOU HAWKINS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  That portion of Mississippi Highway 25 within the city limits of Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the "Thomas Lee Bales Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the portion of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     SECTION 2.  (1)  That portion of United States Highway 51 within the city limits of Duck Hill, Montgomery County, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the "Lucie E. Campbell Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the portion of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     SECTION 3.  (1)  That portion of United States Highway 61 within the city limits of Shaw, Bolivar County, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the "Andrew and Mary Lou Hawkins Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the portion of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     SECTION 4.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2019.
