House Bill 1301

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COMMISSION ON WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS TO CONTRACT WITH PRIVATE BUSINESSES, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER PRIVATE ENTITIES TO CONDUCT ACTIVITIES RELATING TO PROPERTY THAT IS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS THAT WOULD LEAD TO GENERATING REVENUE FOR THE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1.  The Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks may contract with private businesses, nonprofit organizations and other private entities to conduct activities relating to property that is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks that would lead to generating revenue for the department.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2019.
