A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE SENSE OF THE MISSISSIPPI SENATE REGARDING THE COMPARISON OF EDUCATION FUNDING FORMULAS.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That it is the sense of the Mississippi Senate that any comparison of a proposed public education funding formula with the present Mississippi Adequate Education Program (MAEP) funding formula should be based on the difference in the provisions of the statutory law and not based upon projected and current appropriations.
