AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF GREENVILLE, MISSISSIPPI, TO TAKE ANY AND ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ENFORCE THE CITY'S SEWER ORDINANCES AS THEY AFFECT CUSTOMERS WHO RESIDE OUTSIDE THE CITY'S CORPORATE LIMITS WHO ARE SERVED BY THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The governing authorities of the City of Greenville, Mississippi, are authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to take any and all actions necessary to enforce the city's sewer ordinances as they affect customers who reside outside the city's corporate limits who are served by the sanitary sewer system of the city.  City personnel shall be accompanied by the County Patrol Officer of Washington County in the event it is necessary for them to leave the corporate limits of the city to enforce the sewer ordinances of the city.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
