Senate Amendments to House Bill No. 443

 

TO THE CLERK OF THE HOUSE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE SENATE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     AMEND on lines 28 through 29 by changing "justice of the peace" to:

justice court judge

     FURTHER, AMEND on line 35 by striking "or municipal"

     FURTHER, AMEND on line 54 by striking the word "All" and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

Except as otherwise provided by law,

     FURTHER, AMEND on lines 70 through 72 by striking the underlined language, inserting in lieu thereof the following:

The municipal court shall have jurisdiction of any case remanded to it by a circuit court grand jury.
