SUBSTITUTE NO 1 FOR AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

House Bill No.  660

BY: Representatives Holloway, Guice

     AMEND by deleting lines 514 through 516 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

     "SECTION 21.  Section 75-67-539, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:

     75-67-539.  Sections 75-67-501 through 75-67-537 shall stand repealed on July 1, 2013."

     AMEND FURTHER the title by deleting the language beginning with the word "TO" on line 6 through the semicolon on line 7 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:  "TO AMEND SECTION 75-67-539, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO EXTEND THE DATE OF THE REPEALER ON THE CHECK CASHERS ACT;"
