AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO CLARENCE HILL II OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Clarence Hill II of Jefferson County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of the crime of robbery in 2002 in Jefferson County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve three (3) years in the custody of the Department of Corrections.  He was released on earned release supervision on August 10, 2004, and was discharged on November 24, 2004.  Since that time he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
