AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO EDDIE W. LOGAN OF HOLMES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Eddie W. Logan of Holmes County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of the crime of embezzlement in 2005 in Holmes County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve three (3) years in the custody of the Department of Corrections.  His sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for six (6) months of community service and six (6) months of supervised probation.  His probation was terminated on August 19, 2005.  Since that time he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
