AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 928, LOCAL AND PRIVATE LAWS OF 2004, TO EXTEND THROUGH CALENDAR YEAR 2012 THE PROVISION THAT AUTHORIZES THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE TUNICA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Chapter 928, Local and Private Laws of 2004, is amended as follows:

     Section 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, from any available funds of the county, to provide funding for the Tunica County Economic Development Foundation, Inc., (the "foundation"), in an amount not to exceed Fifty Million Dollars ($50,000,000.00) annually through calendar year 2012.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
