AN ACT TO DESIGNATE THE SEGMENT OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 537 IN JONES COUNTY AS THE "RANDY CHANCELLOR MEMORIAL HIGHWAY" TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN SEGMENT OF MS HIGHWAY 35 IN TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY AS THE "BIRDIA KEGLAR MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  That segment of Mississippi Highway 537 lying in Jones County shall be designated and known as the "Randy Chancellor Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.  To designate a certain segment of MS Highway 35 in Tallahatchie County as the "Birdia Keglar Memorial Highway"

     SECTION 2.  (1)  That segment of Mississippi Highway 35 beginning at the corporate limits of Charleston in Tallahatchie County and extending northerly to the Tallahatchie/Panola County line shall be designated and known as the "Birdia Keglar Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2007.
