AN ACT MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF SPECIAL FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE ELECTRONIC PROTECTION LICENSING ADVISORY ACT, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION  1.  In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the Mississippi Insurance Department which is comprised of special source funds collected by, or otherwise available to, the Department for the purpose of funding the Electronic Protection Licensing Advisory Act as established in Senate Bill 2742, 2006 Regular Session, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007......................................$   265,222.00.

     Of the funds provided under the provisions of this section, $127,768.00 (One Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars) shall be expended for a Deputy Fire Marshall Supervisor, Deputy Fire Marshall I and an Administrative Assistant IV.

     SECTION 2.  The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money in the proper fund or funds as set forth in this act, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided by law.

     SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
