House Resolution 72

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE RETIREES OF MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THEIR YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE.

WHEREAS, Koskal Turk, Dr. Dae Sung Lee, Dr. Chung Lee and Mary Carter, employees of Mississippi Valley State University will retire in 2007 after giving many years of their time and service to the students of the university; and

WHEREAS, throughout their years of service to the Mississippi Valley State University, these retirees have contributed countless hours fulfilling the duties and obligations associated with their various positions: Koskal Turk, Mass Communication; Dr. Dae Sung Lee, Business Administration; Dr. Chung Lee, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Accreditation; and Mary Carter, Business Administration; and

WHEREAS, these retirees are responsible for preparing and grooming an entire generation of future doctors, lawyers, nurses, politicians, teachers, leaders and other role models to face the challenges and victories that the future holds in store for our great nation; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize and commend excellence, especially when evidenced by people who have dedicated so many years of their lives to developing and cultivating the minds and spirits of the many students with whom they have come in contact during their illustrious careers:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby recognize, commend and congratulate all employees of Mississippi Valley State University who will retire in 2007.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Koskal Turk, Dr. Dae Sung Lee, Dr. Chung Lee, Mary Carter, other 2007 retirees of Mississippi Valley State University and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
