AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CHICKASAWHAY NATURAL GAS DISTRICT TO SELL CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE TOWN OF SHUBUTA, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the Chickasawhay Natural Gas District, in their discretion, are authorized to sell to the Town of Shubuta, Mississippi, the office building and land located at 178 Eucutta Street in Shubuta, Mississippi, without complying with public purchasing laws, for such price as may be agreed upon by the governing authorities of the district and of the town.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
