House Bill 1816

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE HARRISON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO ENTER INTO DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS WITH THE OWNER AND DEVELOPERS OF MASTER PLAN COMMUNITIES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County may, in its discretion, enter into development agreements with the owner and developers of Master Plan communities to develop such communities with less than the three thousand five hundred (3,500) acres required by Section 19-5-10, Mississippi Code of 1972.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
