AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 927, LOCAL AND PRIVATE LAWS OF 2005, TO EXTEND THE REPEAL DATE ON THE PROVISION OF LAW THAT AUTHORIZES PANOLA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO THE LOCAL BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Chapter 927, Local and Private Laws of 2005, is amended as follows:

     Section 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) annually, out of any available funds of the county to the local Boys and Girls Club.  In addition, the board may provide the use of county-owned buildings on a rent-free basis, insurance, utilities and transportation that the board deems in the best interest of the local Boys and Girls Club and the citizens of Panola County.

     (2)  The provisions of this section shall be repealed on December 31, 2012.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
