AN ACT TO DELETE MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 379 IN ITAWAMBA COUNTY FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM; TO REMOVE IT FROM THE JURISDICTION OF THE MISSISSIPPI TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION AND RETURN IT TO JURISDICTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ITAWAMBA COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The following highway is deleted from the state highway system, removed from the jurisdiction of the Mississippi Transportation Commission and returned to the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors of Itawamba County:
Northern District - Itawamba County:
Mississippi Highway 379 in Itawamba County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
