AN ACT TO REMOVE THE AUTHORITY OF THE COMMISSION ON WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS TO ESTABLISH OR COLLECT FEES FOR LICENSES, PERMITS OR SERVICE ACTIVITIES NOT SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZED BY STATUTE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks shall not be authorized to impose, charge or collect a fee for any license or permit or for any service activity or privilege, unless specifically authorized by statute.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2007.
