AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE NEW BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOL OF LAW, LOCATED IN OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI, SHALL BE NAMED THE "ROBERT C. KHAYAT LAW CENTER"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The new building, currently under construction at the University of Mississippi School of Law, located in Oxford, Mississippi, shall be named the "Robert C. Khayat Law Center."  The University of Mississippi School of Law shall prepare a distinctive plaque, to be placed in a prominent place within the building, which states the background, accomplishments and service to the university of Dr. Khayat.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
