AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOWNDES COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2007 TO GOLDEN TRIANGLE CONTACT TELEMINISTRY, INC., D/B/A CONTACT HELPLINE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE COUNSELING AND ASSISTANCE SERVICES PROVIDED BY CONTACT HELPLINE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Lowndes County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute funds in an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) during fiscal year 2007 to the Golden Triangle Contact Teleministry, Inc., D/B/A Contact Helpline for the purpose of providing financial assistance for the continuation of counseling and assistance services provided by Contact Helpline.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
