AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO MARK PICKERING OF WARREN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Mark Pickering of Warren County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his convictions of the crimes of burglary and grand larceny in Warren County, Mississippi, in 1981, and who was sentenced to serve two (2) years in the custody of the Department of Corrections.  His sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two (2) years.  His probation was terminated on December 2, 1982.  Since that time, he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
