AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 73-3-401, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972,  WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE REPEAL OF SECTIONS 73-3-2 THROUGH 73-3-59, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, BEING THOSE SECTIONS WHICH CREATE THE BOARD OF BAR ADMISSIONS AND PRESCRIBE ITS DUTIES AND POWERS AND PROVIDE CERTAIN REGULATIONS REGARDING THE PRACTICE OF LAW IN THIS STATE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Section 73-3-401, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provides for the repeal of Sections 73-3-2 through 73-3-59, Mississippi Code of 1972, which create the Board of Bar Admissions and prescribe its duties and powers and provide certain regulations regarding the practice of law in this state, is repealed.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
