AN ACT TO REQUIRE ALL PHYSICIANS TO ACCEPT AS PAYMENT ANY FORM OF HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE OF ACTIVE DUTY UNITED STATES MILITARY PERSONNEL AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. All physicians shall accept as payment any form of health insurance coverage of active duty United States military personnel and their family members. For purposes of this section, the term "physician" means an individual authorized to practice medicine or osteopathy under Title 73, Chapter 25, Mississippi Code of 1972.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
