AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN PORTION OF RED CREEK IN STONE, GEORGE AND JACKSON COUNTIES AS A STATE SCENIC STREAM AND TO INCLUDE THE STREAM IN THE STATE SCENIC STREAMS STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  In accordance with Section 51-4-7, Red Creek from Mississippi Highway 26 in Stone County to its confluence with Black Creek in Jackson County, which was designated as eligible for nomination to the State Scenic Streams Stewardship Program under Section 51-4-21.5, is designated as a state scenic stream and is included in the State Scenic Streams Stewardship Program.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
