AN ACT TO REQUIRE ALL CELL PHONE PROVIDERS IN THIS STATE TO MAKE AN ANNUAL REPORT ON THE LOCATION OF ANY CELL PHONE TOWERS LOCATED IN THE STATE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Any person or entity who provides mobile telecommunications services and who are doing business within this state shall make a yearly report to the Public Utilities Committee of the House of Representatives during the first week of the legislative session. Such report shall provide the location of each cell phone tower in this state and shall provide if any cell phone towers are shared by providers.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2006.
