AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT REMEDIAL ACTION TAKEN BY A TORTFEASOR SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADMISSION OF FAULT OR LIABILITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Any remedial action taken by a person to address an alleged civil wrong that has occurred including any apology to a wronged party shall not be admissible in evidence as an admission of fault or liability in a subsequent civil action.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2006.
