AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO ST. VINCENT DE PAUL COMMUNITY PHARMACY TO ASSIST IN PROVIDING PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION FOR THE ELDERLY, POOR AND HOMELESS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) annually during calendar years 2005 and 2006, out of any available funds of the county, to the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy for the purpose of supporting its program, which provides prescription medications for the elderly, poor and homeless in Harrison County.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
