AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO STEPHEN ANDERSON OF HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Stephen Anderson of Hinds County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of the crime of armed robbery in Hinds County, Mississippi, in 1984, and who was sentenced to serve twenty-five (25) years in the custody of the Department of Corrections with fifteen (15) years suspended.  He was discharged on January 12, 1994.  Since that time, he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
