A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE DEADLINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE FURTHER CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF THE FOLLOWING BILLS:  HOUSE BILL NO. 693, 2005 REGULAR SESSION, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 27-104-3, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO ASSIST A STATE AGENCY IN COLLECTING A FEE THAT ANOTHER STATE AGENCY HAS FAILED TO PAY TO IT; TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE FISCAL OFFICER TO PAY THE CREDITOR AGENCY THE AMOUNT OWED TO IT OUT OF ANY FUNDS IN THE STATE TREASURY TO THE CREDIT OF THE DELINQUENT AGENCY; TO PROVIDE FOR THE APPEAL OF THE TRANSFER OF, OR THE FAILURE TO TRANSFER, FUNDS UNDER THIS SECTION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."; HOUSE BILL NO. 1000, 2005 REGULAR SESSION, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 27-103-125, 27-103-139 AND 27-103-211, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REVISE THE PERCENTAGE LIMITATION ON LEGISLATIVE APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE STATE GENERAL FUND FOR FISCAL YEARS 2006 AND 2007; TO AMEND SECTION 27-65-75, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DELAY UNTIL 2007 THE SALES TAX DIVERSION THAT IS TO BE DEPOSITED INTO THE SPECIAL FUNDS TRANSFER FUND; TO AMEND SECTION 4, CHAPTER 556, LAWS OF 2003, AS AMENDED BY SECTION 10, CHAPTER 595, LAWS OF 2004, TO CONFORM TO THE PRECEDING SECTION; TO AMEND SECTION 27-25-506, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT BEGINNING WITH FISCAL YEAR 2006, ALL AMOUNTS COLLECTED FROM CERTAIN TAX COLLECTIONS APPORTIONED TO THE STATE FROM OIL AND GAS SEVERANCE TAXES SHALL BE DEPOSITED INTO THE STATE GENERAL FUND; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."; AND SENATE BILL NO. 2845, 2005 REGULAR SESSION, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO DIRECT THE STATE FISCAL OFFICER TO TRANSFER CERTAIN SPECIAL FUNDS INTO THE BUDGET CONTINGENCY FUND DURING FISCAL YEAR 2005; TO AMEND SECTION 4, CHAPTER 89, LAWS OF 2004, TO TRANSFER FUNDS IN THE FISCAL YEAR 2005 APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH AMONG VARIOUS CATEGORIES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."

     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That the Joint Rules of the House and the Senate, including all the deadlines and other provisions imposed by Joint Rule No. 40, are suspended for the purpose of permitting the further consideration and passage of
