AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE GULF COAST COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount up to Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) to the Gulf Coast Community Action Agency, a nonprofit organization, for the purpose of aiding in the construction of a new head start center in the county.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
