AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WARREN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE SOUTHERN CULTURAL HERITAGE FOUNDATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING AN ENVIRONMENT FOR HOSTING ART EXHIBITS AND OTHER FUNCTIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute

Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($14,400.00) during the 2005 calendar year to the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation for the purpose of providing the public with a well-maintained environment capable of hosting art exhibits, local programming and public functions, and housing local art and historical memorabilia on a permanent basis.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
