AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PERRY COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO WE CARE DAY CARE, INCORPORATED, TO BE USED AS MATCHING FUNDS FOR STATE OR FEDERAL FUNDS AND TO CONTRACT FOR AND FUND THE OPERATION OF ANY HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAM IN THE COUNTY, INCLUDING A RURAL TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Perry County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute annually from any available funds a sum in an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) annually during fiscal years 2005, 2006 and 2007 to We Care Day Care, Incorporated, to be used as matching funds for state or federal funds and to contract for and fund the operation of any human service program in the county, including, but not limited to, a rural transportation program.

     (2)  This act shall stand repealed from and after July 1, 2007.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2005.
