AN ACT MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF GENERAL AND SPECIAL FUNDS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE - DIVISION OF MEDICAID FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1.  In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State General Fund not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses of the Governor's Office - Division of Medicaid for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005$   29,000,000.00.

SECTION 2.  In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Working Cash-Stabilization Reserve Fund created in Section 27-103-203, Mississippi Code of 1972, not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses of the Governor's Office - Division of Medicaid for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005$   20,600,000.00.

SECTION 3.  In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the Governor's Office - Division of Medicaid, which is comprised of any special source funds collected by or otherwise available to the division, for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the division, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005............. $  200,000,000.00.

     SECTION 4.  This additional appropriation is made for the purpose of funding the medical and administrative services provided by the Governor's Office - Division of Medicaid.

     SECTION 5.  The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money in the proper fund or funds as set forth in this act, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided by law.

     SECTION 6.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
