AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE BUILDING IN WHICH THE MEDICAL INTAKE FACILITY IS HOUSED ON THE GROUNDS OF THE COLUMBIA TRAINING SCHOOL SHALL BE NAMED THE DONALD R. TAYLOR BUILDING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The new building on the grounds of the Columbia
Training School in Columbia, Mississippi, that is being used as a medical intake facility as of January 18, 2005, shall be named the Donald R. Taylor Building. The Department of Youth Services shall place a distinctive plaque in a prominent place within the Donald R. Taylor Building, which states the background, accomplishments and service to the state of the Honorable Donald R. Taylor.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
