AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI, TO DONATE, LEASE OR CONVEY REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY TO HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, UNDER SUCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES CONSIDER PROPER, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION ON THE PROPERTY, AT THE COUNTY'S EXPENSE, OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The governing authorities of the City of Long Beach, Mississippi, are authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to donate, lease or convey real property owned by the city to Harrison County, Mississippi, under such terms and conditions as the governing authorities consider proper, for the construction on the property, at the county's expense, of recreational facilities that the county will maintain at its expense.  The recreational facilities shall include ball fields, roads, concession stands, and such other recreational facilities and appurtenances as may be agreed upon by the governing authorities of the City of Long Beach and the Board of Supervisors of Harrison County.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
