AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COMMISSION ON WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS TO REQUIRE A NONCONSUMPTIVE USE PERMIT FOR PERSONS USING WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS IF THE PERSON DOES NOT HAVE A HUNTING OR FISHING LICENSE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks shall require a person using a wildlife management area to have a nonconsumptive user permit if the person does not have a hunting or fishing license.  The commission shall require resident and nonresident user permits and may set reasonable fees for such permits.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2004.
