AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE MISSISSIPPI TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE ITAWAMBA COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT TO EXCHANGE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN ITAWAMBA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  (a)  In consideration for the conveyance of property authorized in subsection (2) of this section, the Mississippi Transportation Commission may transfer and convey to the Itawamba Community College District all right, title and interest in certain real property located in Itawamba County, Mississippi, such property described more particularly as follows:

Itawamba County MDOT Maintenance Headquarters located at 800 West Main Street, Fulton, Mississippi, consisting of approximately 3 acres.

          (b)  The conveyance authorized in this subsection (1) may be subject to additional terms and conditions agreed upon by the Mississippi Transportation Commission and the Board of Trustees of the Itawamba Community College District.

     (2)  (a)  In consideration for the conveyance of property authorized in subsection (1) of this section, the Board of Trustees of the Itawamba Community College District, may transfer and convey to the Mississippi Transportation Commission all right, title and interest in certain real property located in Itawamba County, Mississippi, such property described more particularly as follows:

Approximately 3 acres located at the south corner of the intersection of 101 Max Place Road and the Access Road in Fulton, Mississippi.

          (b)  The conveyance authorized in this subsection (2) may be subject to additional terms and conditions agreed upon by the Board of Trustees of the Itawamba Community College District and the Mississippi Transportation Commission.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2004, and shall stand repealed on June 30, 2004.
