AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE COUNTY FUNDS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2004 TO MID-STATE OPPORTUNITY, INC., TO SUPPORT SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS AND LOW-INCOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) during calendar year 2004, from any available funds of the county, to Mid-State Opportunity, Inc., to support summer youth programs and elderly, disabled and low-income energy assistance programs.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
