AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO RONALD BAILEY OF HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Ronald Bailey of Hinds County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his convictions of the crime of burglary in 1990 in Warren County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve five years in the custody of the Department of Corrections.  On January 25, 1991, he was released on shock probation.  His projected discharge date was January 26, 1993, and he was discharged by order of the court on July 5, 1995.  Since that time he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
