AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 19-5-15, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO AUTHORIZE BOARDS OF SUPERVISORS TO BURY LIVESTOCK REGARDLESS OF THE NECESSITY TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF A CONTAGIOUS DISEASE AMONG THE LIVESTOCK OF THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Section 19-5-15, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:
19-5-15. The board of supervisors * * * may use the road equipment of the county to dig graves for the burying of livestock * * *, if the graves are upon the premises of the owner of the livestock * * * or upon property provided by the owner.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
